Staffordshire's Steve Martin will be the man in the middle when Huddersfield Town head to Wigan Athletic on Saturday.

Martin is in his third season as a Football League referee after gaining plenty of experience in the Conference.

He was in charge when Town drew 0-0 at Blackburn Rovers last season.

This time around, he has taken 21 games, most recently the Blackpool versus Millwall game on January 10, issuing two red cards and 63 yellows.

Both the dismissals were for Havant & Waterlooville players in the FA Cup first-round defeat by Preston North End.

His assistants at the DW Stadium will be Simon Clayton (County Durham) and Ken Haycock (South Yorkshire).

The fourth official will be Matthew Donohue (Manchester).
