TWIN strikeforce Andy Booth and John McAliskey are aiming to write themselves into Town folklore against Hull City at the KC Stadium (3.00).

Teenage marksman McAliskey is the talk of the Town after his winning double against Scunthorpe and his highly promising introduction to senior football ahead of tomorrow's sell-out clash (3.00).

And Booth is hunting the one goal he needs to complete a century for his hometown club as Town chase the win which could clinch automatic promotion depending on results involving play-off challengers Torquay and Lincoln.

"It has been a hell of a week already for young Macca and you wouldn't bet against him finishing it all off by grabbing the headlines again over at Hull tomorrow," said boss Peter Jackson.

"He has been outstanding, impressed a lot of people and he won't need a second invitation to enjoy himself again on the big stage.

"I was delighted with the way he played alongside Boothy at Northampton and it's great to have someone of that experience to guide young Macca through.

"Boothy is an excellent player who has fully regained his appetite for the game this season and he's been superb both on and off the field - leading by example.

"Both of them will be keen to do well in such a massive match and I'm expecting big games from Danny Schofield and Efe Sodje as well."

The latter duo play their final matches of the season tomorrow because of two-match bans.

"Danny had his best game since my return as manager when we won at Northampton on Tuesday, so he will want to sign off in style, and I'm certain Efe will want another clean sheet," added Jackson.

While McAliskey might have expected a selection in the Team of the Week, that honour went to defender David Mirfin for the second time.
