DANNY CADAMARTERI will leave Town at the end of the season.

The 29-year-old, who has been strongly linked with a move to Scottish club Dundee United, has rejected a series of contract offers from the Galpharm club.

Injury-plagued Cadamarteri appeared to be unhappy with the appearance-linked terms Town were offering.

His two seasons at the club have yielded only 49 outings, a source of concern for Clark, who said the second year of any new contract would be dependant on the number of games played in the first.

Now Saturday's League I game at Leyton Orient will be his last for the club.

"We think the offer made to Danny was a fair one, but he was looking for the certainty of a longer deal," explained manager Clark.

"We wish him every success. He is a good lad and he has done well for us."

Clark is still awaiting a decision from defender Andy Holdsworth on the new deal he has been offered.
