Huddersfield Town's game against Bolton this afternoon is definitely on after a team of staff and volunteers cleared the pitch and surrounding areas.

The John Smith's Stadium pitch had a covering of snow after Boxing Day night but club staff and helpers quickly got to work on the playing surface.

Vulnerable parts of the pitch were also kept ice free by special heat lamps, which are also used at other times of the year to encourage grass growth.

The club tweeted: "Today's game is ON - there's been great work by #htafc & @johnsmithstadia staff clearing the pitch."
