DEFENDER Martin McIntosh is recovering from a dislocated finger.

The 35-year-old centre back suffered the injury during Tuesday's goalless draw at Millwall and, indirectly, it led to Chris Brandon getting suspended!

Manager Peter Jackson explained: "Tosh got hit and the finger came out of its socket.

"Brandon knew Tosh was hurt and just wanted to stop play, so he picked the ball up so Tosh could get help.

"He was booked for his trouble (a fifth yellow card of the season) and now he'll be suspended."

Physio Lee Martin was able to pop McIntosh's finger back into the joint and he was okay to continue at The New Den, so he is not a doubt for Saturday's trip to bottom club Leyton Orient.

Brandon is also free to play in the Brisbane Road match as his one-match suspension does not kick in until the following Saturday against Northampton at the Galpharm.

Town's only doubts for this weekend are keeper Matt Glannon, who suffered a knee injury at Millwall, and Jon Worthington, who is under treatment for a sore groin.
