TOWN Ladies struggled to a 1-1 draw at York City in the North East League Premier Division.

Dawn Kellett hooked the ball over the keeper to earn a point after York led in the first half.

Andrea Haigh was the player-of-the-match.

The Under 16s lost 11-2 to Bradford City, with Abigail Iggleden hitting both goals.

The Under 14s went down 2-1 to York City, Abigail Connell scoring. The Under 12s were the only side to win, beating Altofts 10-0 with a hat trick from Georgia Cooke, and others from Siobhan McCauley, Alice Linsell (2), Lucy Ellis, Seana Potts, Ebony Allison and Rebecca Moore.

Town are at home to Morley Spurs on Sunday at Grange Moor (2.00) and this is preceded by the Under 16 game against Doncaster Belles (11.00). The Under 14s are away to Lepton Highlanders (11.00) on Sunday, and the Under 12s are at home to Brighouse at Grange Moor on Saturday (11.00).
