TOWN are still waiting for their first win wearing their white change kit.

Introduced at the start of this season as their official second-choice colours (the red and black stripes have been downgraded to third), it was first worn at Southend United, albeit with white rather than blue shorts, in August for a game drawn 1-1.

It had its second outing, this time with the blue shorts, in November's LDV Vans Trophy first-round tie at Boston United, who were 2-1 winners.

Appearance three was for the 2-0 defat at Bristol City last Saturday.

However boss Peter Jackson maintains: "We're not superstitious about strips in any way."
