TOWN fans should note that roads in the south west are expected to be heavily congested this weekend.
On top of the play-off finals at Cardiff which are on Saturday and Sunday before Town's match on Monday, around 15m Bank Holiday visitors are expected to the region.
Areas expected to be particularly busy are the M5 around Bristol (junctions 15 to 19), the M4 which leads to Cardiff and the A30, A303, A39 and A38.
Specific travel details have been issued for Town supporters:
Coaches - (also light vans, minibuses and limos): Leave M4 at J32 /A470. Travel south along A470/Manor Way following designated coach parking signs to the Civic Centre, where up to 400 spaces are provided within a 1-mile walk of the stadium. Detailed plans and passes must be applied for in advance from the Millennium Stadium to secure free coach parking (029- 2082-2141 or 029-2082-2145 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org
Cars - Leave M4 at J33 and use Queensgate and Pierhead car parks (purple car park), Leckwith (yellow car park) & County Hall and follow designated parking signs to `park and ride' sites for your team. Buses will then take you to within 10 minutes walk to the stadium and back after the match. There is a charge of £5 per car with free bus shuttle services.
Drop off points - Queensgate & Pierhead: Eversheds lay-by on north side of Callaghan Sq. Leckwith: Cowbridge Rd East. County Hall & the UCI: Bute Terr at rear of the Ice rink.
