TOWN'S Survival Trust have some major plans on ice in readiness for Ken Davy's takeover gaining Football League approval.

The Trust committee - now seven-strong following the resignation of Ross Brown - are just as frustrated as club officials and other supporters by the hold-up.

Chairman Robert Pepper confirmed today, however, that the Trust are far from idling as the club's future remains in the melting pot.

"These are very frustrating times for fans as Ken Davy struggles to finalise the deal to take the club out of administration," said Mr Pepper.

"It is now a month since the CVA was approved and still we wait on a daily basis for the all-important share transfer by the Football League which will signal the re-birth of the club.

"It's a complex situation and the Trust is convinced everything is being done, but it is frustrating that our own plans are being stalled until the green light is given."

Trust talks have included funding administration, bondholders, season-tickets, shares, shop, and contributions to the Academy.

"The Trust is doing its utmost to be ready to play an important part in the future of Town," he added.

A decision has been deferred on whether to elect a replacement for Mr Brown on the committee.
