"Just want to say big thanks to all htafc for there support over past 2seasons, I had a great 2 years at the club and wish every1 the best!!"

That was prolific Twitter user Lee Peltier's sign-off to the hundreds of Huddersfield Town fans who sent him messages of thanks and support on the microblogging site as he clinched a move to Championship Leicester City yesterday.

Peltier, who you can follow on Twitter at @pelts_86, was a regular user of Twitter while at Town along with Gary Roberts, who now seems to have stopped using the service, and Anthony Pilkington, who got himself in hot water with a 'tweet' about Arsenal's Spanish maestro Cesc Fabregas after Town's 2-1 FA Cup defeat.

You can also follow the Examiner on Twitter in three ways. We have @examiner for news, @examinerHTAFC for Huddersfield Town news and @examinerGiants for, you guessed it, Giants news!
