Andy Hughes is the firm favourite to replace Mike Marsh at Huddersfield Town.
Now with Crystal Palace's coaching staff, Hughes turned out for Leeds United, Charlton Athletic, Reading and Norwich during an 18-year playing career.
And during his time with Leeds he proved he can certainly strike a ball.
The former midfielder showed off his skills in the Crossbar Challenge, leaving the woodwork shaking.
And sources suggest he will be the new man helping David Wagner put the squad through their paces when they return for pre-season training on June 24.
