David Wagner won't be able to travel to Wembley to cheer on old friend Jurgen Klopp when he leads out his Liverpool side against Manchester City in the Capital One Cup Final.

The Huddersfield Town boss is away on a scouting mission.

However, he was full of warm wishes for the Liverpool manager on his first trip to the national stadium, and his first shot at some silverware in English football.

And he believes a win on Sunday could be the start of something special for the Anfield club.

Town take on Ipswich at the John Smith's Stadium a day earlier, on Saturday, without Philip Billing (suspended), Sean Scannell and Emyr Huws, while there is a question mark over the availability of Joe Lolley.
