It was a feast of football under the floodlights as Huddersfield Town fired five past a hapless Charlton Athletic side.
But for one fan the excitement of Duane Holmes' goal proved too much.
The midfielder scored his first ever senior goal as part of the 5-0 thrashing of the Addicks , a result that had David Wagner hailing a "perfect night".
While many fans said they had seen a result of this kind coming after recent performances , there was still widespread disbelief in the stands - and several threw themselves over the hoardings to celebrate with their heroes.
Unfortunately, for one unlucky fan, he was a bit too enthusiastic and ended up in a heap on the concrete...
