Huddersfield Town fans rose as one in the 23rd minute of the match with Cardiff to pay tribute to Gavin Greig, a supporter who sadly lost his life to cancer last week.

A minute's applause was organised in memory of the footballer, who had a heart transplant at the age of nine.

Sadly, his cancer was a side effect of anti-rejection drugs needed to save his life.

Friends of the 23-year-old planned the terrace tribute against Cardiff, which was enthusiastically taken up by fellow fans.

Following the applause, the crowd sang Gavin's name - saluting him as "one of our own".
