Huddersfield Town secured their first win under Chris Powell as a Nahki Wells brace helped overcome Millwall in a 2-1 win.

The Terriers, who also moved out of the relegation zone and ended an awful run without a win at home stretching back to March, took the lead eight minutes before the break through Wells before Ed Upson's wonderful leveller, but the Bermudian stroked home a second-half penalty to seal all three points.

Powell revelled in his first win as Town boss and was delighted with his side's attacking offerings, not least the performance of debutant Grant Holt, whose loan signing was only confirmed an hour prior to kick-off.

Our Town reporter Doug Thomson was at the John Smith's Stadium at the weekend to watch the Terriers bounce back to winning ways and he says it was a much-improved performance at both ends of the field.

Watch the video above to see Doug discuss the impact new signing Holt made on his first outing, Wells finally ending his goal drought and the midweek trip to third-placed Wolves.
