Huddersfield Town sealed back-to-back away wins under Chris Powell for the first time with a 3-1 win at Millwall , despite playing large periods of the second half with only 10 men.

Town took the lead after just 17 minutes through former Lions target Sean Scannell, who crashed home from Conor Coady's lofted pass, but Ian Holloway's side levelled through Stefan Maierhofer after Town failed to clear a Shaun Williams free-kick.

And it looked as if Millwall would go on to secure all three points when Nahki Wells received his marching orders for a second booking after being harshly adjudged to have hauled down Williams.

But Town rallied and went back in front thanks to Jacob Butterfield's strike, which deceived home goalkeeper David Forde and James Vaughan rounded things off when he converted from the penalty spot following a foul on Harry Bunn.
