Huddersfield Town suffered their second consecutive home defeat on Tuesday night as Wolves ran out comfortable 4-1 winners at the John Smith's Stadium.

The Terriers started brightly but fell behind in the 12th minute to a Nouha Dicko strike before Conor Coady put through his own net immediately after the restart.

Former Town loan striker Benik Afobe made it three when he followed up Rajiv van La Parra's effort but James Vaughan did pull one back for Chris Powell's side with a neat finish from Sean Scannell's cutback.

It would prove nothing more than mere consolation, however, as Dicko grabbed his second and Wolves' fourth in injury time after rounding Alex Smithies.
