Huddersfield Town's 2014/2015 season ended on a sour note on Saturday as their final game of the season at Blackpool was abandoned in the 47th minute due to a pitch invasion from the home fans.

Town are awaiting the Football League's verdict on the Bloomfield Road debacle as the disgruntled Pool supporters staged an on-field protest at owner Karl Oyston's running of the club, with referee Mick Russell forced to call the game off on safety grounds.

In the 47 minutes that were played, Town went closest through Joe Lolley, Ishmael Miller, Oscar Gobern and Joel Lynch as they created a raft of opportunities in the opening period.
