CHRIS BRANDON eyed Town's test at Port Vale and vowed: "We're capable of going anywhere and beating anyone."

It's a measure of the confidence in Town's camp to keep up pressure in an ultra-tight promotion race with another victory at Vale Park (3.00).

Town want revenge for their 3-0 defeat to Vale at the Galpharm in December and Brandon said:

"We can go to Port Vale and win, make no mistake about that.

"It's something we did last season and there's no reason why we can't do it again. Our team has got goals in it and if we cut out the silly mistakes, we can go anywhere and win."

Keeper Phil Senior has recovered from a back niggle but Town have a doubt over sickness victim David Graham, so Gary Taylor-Fletcher is ready to join Andy Booth up front.

Brandon added: "The lads are buzzing and we are all focusing on getting the results we need for automatic. Results have gone for us and the teams at the top are still well within our reach.

"All we've got to do is keep winning. Other teams are bound to slip up and we want to increase the pressure.

"We will keep plugging away, that's all we can do. It is going to be a grind at times and it won't always be pretty, but we will stick in there to the end."
