We had a cracking Award Ceremony Evening and congratulations to Adam Clayton on being voted Huddersfield Town’s Player of the Year.

Held at the Cedar Court Hotel, over 300 fans packed the room in which Clayton was the evening’s big winner as he scooped the Hargreaves Memorial trophy having received 60% of the votes from the club’s supporters.

Well done Clayts!

We signed off in style for the season by winning 4-1 down at Watford.

New signing Joe Lolley, making his full debut, netted Town’s first and then cue hat-trick hero Danny Ward. As the regular season has now drawn to a close, it has seen a number of players out of contract.

Those moving on are Peter Clarke, Calum Woods, Ian Bennett, Keith Southern, and Anton Robinson alongside Cristian Lopez, Chris Atkinson and Paul Mullin.

The club want to retain three players who are out of contract; Danny Ward will be offered a new deal, whereas Town are taking up pre-agreed options to extend the contracts of Murray Wallace and Ed Wilczynski.

HTSA would like to wish all those who have contributed to Town’s season the very best of luck at their future clubs.

A special mention goes to our Captain Fantastic – Peter Clarke – who has played in his last game for Town.

Peter has skippered the side marvellously in his time at Huddersfield Town since joining from Southend in 2009, and has been a firm favourite amongst the fans.

With All Together Town, the next Voices Panel meeting is scheduled for Monday at PPG Canalside. One of the main topics of focus will be on a club Supporter Liaison Officer (SLO) volunteer role.
