WEST BROM are battling an illness bug ahead of tomorrow’s cup-tie.

While midfielder Michael Collins’ return to training following a hip problem means Town have a clean bill of health, Albion have doubts over central defender Jonas Olsson, left-back Marek Cech and midfield playmaker Graham Dorrans.

The trio are in isolation after showing similar illness symptoms.

“When you get to this time of year, you can feel a bit run down,” said boss Roberto Di Matteo.

“It’s easy to pick something up and we’ve got three players who are sick.

“Jonas played on Monday (in the 3-1 win at Scunthorpe) and wasn’t feeling great. He is still not well and Cech and Dorrans have since fallen ill, and all three are doubtful.”

Albion centre-back Abdoulaye Meite is certainly out after joining up with the Ivory Coast ahead of the African Cup of Nations.

Cambridgeshire referee Kevin Wright will take charge.
