LEPTON Highlanders face a tough first-round mission as they aim to repeat last season’s run to the West Riding FA Challenge Cup final.

The newly-promoted West Riding County Amateur League top-flight side must visit reigning Premier Division champions Ovenden WR on Saturday, October 6.

Lepton lost 3-1 on penalties to Leeds City after the county showpiece at Woodlesford finished 2-2.

Their WRCAL rivals Marsden and Storthes Hall go to Brighouse Town’s second team and Tingley Athletic respectively.

Meanwhile District League Uppermill must visit Otley Town while Newsome go to Old Headingley.
