Huddersfield Town fans are incredibly pleased with their side's start to the season, after watching their side pick up a point at Villa Park.

The Terriers faithful have heaped praise on the players, manager and the club as a whole following their side's seven-point haul out of a possible nine.

Four points from away games at Newcastle United and Aston Villa has got fans dreaming of what could be this season, with Town battlign and scrapping for every point.

SPH in Almondbury said: "We are on the march. After three tough opening games we have seven points and are unbeaten.

"Last night’s game was a stereotypical game of two halves with Villa dominating the first and Town taking over in the second.

"A draw was a fair result and once again as on Saturday all the squad and manager deserve the credit. A special word though for Hefele: the beast!"

John Burton in Stoke on Trent agreed with SPH. He said: "It was my 1st game this season. Loved it. The support was amazing.

"We have a good competitive side; anything is possible."

Chris in Shelley and Dan in Huddersfield were both unhappy with Town's first half display, but were pleased with the second half response and David Wagner's substitutions.

"Wow that draw feels like a win. Very disappointed with our first half effort but it shows if you stay in the game you never know," said Chris.

"Top marks to Wells - changed the game when he came on never stopped battling for a great point. Fans were fantastic never stopped singing even when we were getting battered in first half."

Dan said: "Shocking first half display, struggling to string passes together and looked to be playing panic football but settled down second half and showed what we can do.

"Scannell and Wells came on and changed the game and Hefele has already achieved legend status!"

The manager received many plaudits for his changes at Villa Park, which changed the flow of the game and gave Town a foothold in the match.

Rodney out in Canada said : "A gutsy performance! This coach is brilliant with his substitutions!"

And James in Sheffield agreed: "The first half provided depressing reading, but with Wagner's impressive subbing and the players never say die attitude and superior fitness we apparently fought back (with 60% possession) and silenced the Villa supporters."
