Huddersfield Town head to resurgent Fulham this weekend looking to return to winning ways after seeing their unbeaten run come to an end in the midweek defeat at Derby County.

A 3-2 reverse at the iPro Stadium saw Town fall to their first loss since the 3-0 West Yorkshire derby humbling at Leeds United back in September.

Powell is determined to prove that the defeat to Steve McClaren's impressive side was nothing more than a blip and believes the trip to the capital represents the perfect opportunity for his side to get back into their stride ahead of the upcoming international break.

Jonathan Hogg was sorely missed in the defeat to Derby , with the Rams' midfield three coming out on top against Town's duo of Jacob Butterfield and Conor Coady but it remains to be seen whether or not he will recover in time from a thigh injury.

It remains to be seen whether or not Powell will go with a 4-4-2 once more but he is limited in his options in the defensive midfield role, with Lee Peltier the most obvious option to come into the starting XI.

With this match Town's third in the space of a week, will the manager be tempted to rotate, just like he did at Ipswich Town recently?

Compared with our predicted XI, the fans' side shows one key change, with supporters keen to see Hogg reinstated to the starting XI, with the supporters choosing 4-3-3 over 4-4-2.

That one change sees Hogg come in for Wells, who was the fans' choice as the second striker in that particular setup, and it appears that the midfielder and striker are the only two players fans are still divided on when selecting.

The return to 4-3-3 was backed by some 32.69% of fans with 4-4-2 the next most popular option with 23.08%, while 21.15% opted for a more defensive variation on the three in attack with 4-5-1.

Alex Smithies was unfortunate to concede three goals the other night but his continued improvement sees him take his place in goal once more with 100% of the goalkeeping vote.

Tommy Smith continues to keep Peltier out of the side and put in another typically tenacious display at Derby the other night, leading to 93.33% of fans choosing him once more for the right-back spot.

Central defence was equally an easy task for fans in terms of choice as Mark Hudson and Joel Lynch both received 86.67% despite conceding three times the other night.

Left-back was naturally tight, as it has been in recent weeks, and there was little to choose between the two chief candidates, with Jack Robinson pipping Paul Dixon by 60% to 40%.

Sean Scannell is expected to recover from a bout of illness suffered at Derby to take his place in the starting XI and 73.33% of fans are keen for him to make the starting lineup this weekend.

In the centre, Hogg joins ever-presents Butterfield and Coady with 46.67%, the same total as Butterfield, with Coady the top choice with 53.33% of the vote.

On the left, Harry Bunn was the majority choice once more after his goal and impressive display in midweek and is 66.67% of supporters' choice to take up the left-flank position, while up front Grant Holt takes his place ahead of Nahki Wells with 93.33% to 6.67% in a lone spearhead role.
