WIGAN boss Roberto Martinez is anticipating a tough FA Cup fifth-round tie – whether it’s against Town or Leicester.

The Premier League Latics will visit the winners of the Tuesday, February 12 King Power Stadium replay, which will be lived on ESPN (7.30 kick-off).

The last 16 showdown is on the weekend of February 15/16 and Martinez, whose side won 1-0 at non-league Macclesfield on Saturday, said: “Any game away from home is going to be difficult no matter who you’re playing.

“These are two teams who are very strong in their own stadium, so it will be a tough game whoever we are to play, but it’s exciting as well to be a part of the fifth round of the competition.

“If you could choose one thing before the draw is made it would be to play at home, but it’s a factor that cannot be controlled and we have to be excited at the prospect of the next game.”

Wigan hope to at least equal their best-ever FA Cup run, to the quarter-finals in 1986-87.

Meanwhile Martinez predicts a ferocious fight for the bottom 10 in the Premier League.

Martinez has guided Wigan to safety in the closing stages of the last two seasons.

His second-bottom side go to Stoke tonight.

“I know that now people are looking at the table but I don’t think it shows the reality of the teams that are involved,” said the Spaniard.
