White is the colour – at least as far as West Yorkshire football is concerned.

A combined kit of the area’s top-ranked clubs, including Huddersfield Town, would be 47% white and just 25% blue.

It might not go down too well with Town fans that the six-club strip looks quite like a Leeds United shirt.

But at least Bradford City, with their claret and amber, don’t get much of a look-in.

Personalised clothing brand Banana Moon, based in Birstall, compared each of the major clubs in 10 UK football hotbeds.

The most popular kit colours in each area were calculated on a percentage basis.

And the company then came up with 10 possible combined shirts.

The other clubs represented in the West Yorkshire strip are FC Halifax Town, Guiseley and Bradford Park Avenue.

While white is the main colour for Leeds, Guiseley and Avenue, the blue reflects its use by Town and Halifax.
