IAN BENNETT - Diligent in testing conditions and didn’t really have a save to make, but helped out twice by his woodwork 6
JACK HUNT - Pushed forward as well as anyone in the first half and linked well with Scott Arfield in the second 6
CALLUM WOODS - Did well at left-back and grew into the game, helping sub Gary Roberts apply pressure in the second half 6
LIAM COOPER - Returned to the starting line-up in place of Antony Kay and made a fine contribution to a crucial clean sheet 7
PETER CLARKE - Made some telling blocks and headers and led the team by example on a day when they struggled to hit top form 7
SCOTT ARFIELD - His shot led to Town’s goal, but his work on the right was consistent throughout and he was close to top man 7
DAMIEN JOHNSON - Put in plenty of graft in a scrappy midfield battle before being taken off 18 minutes from time for Robinson 6
TOMMY MILLER - Never shirked the midfield battle, even though Town struggled for fluency and were made to work very hard 6
JORDAN RHODES - Unlucky not to score with Town’s only effort on target of the first half and worked hard throughout the contest 6
ALAN LEE - Held his own in a fierce fight with Purse and N’Gala and was unlucky to end up getting a fifth yellow of the season 6
DANNY WARD - Didn’t get much chance to make an impact on either flank and was replaced by Roberts at half time 5
