Huddersfield Town manager Chris Powell revealed he is looking to sign "two or three" loan players after seeing his side easily beaten in the West Yorkshire derby at the weekend.

Leeds United's comfortable 3-0 success at Elland Road prompted Powell to suggest he would need additions to arrest his side's worrying form, which has yielded just one point from a possible nine under his tutelage and five from 24 overall so far this season.

James Vaughan's latest spell on the sidelines makes a forward a key target and it is no secret that the former Charlton Athletic boss is eyeing up someone to fill the void left by the injury-prone frontman.

But midfielders may also be on the agenda for Powell, particularly with Joe Lolley, Adam Hammill and Oscar Gobern all nursing their way back to full fitness.

Likewise, with Anthony Gerrard still to return from a troublesome calf injury, Town may find themselves thin on the ground defensively.

Permanent signings cannot be made until January, of course, but whether it is a Premier League youngster in need of first-team minutes or a more established individual out in the cold, there are sure to be some players on the market for Town to explore the possibility of signing.

With Powell indicating he wants as many as three new signings, we want to hear your suggestions for who you would like to see the club draft in on temporary deals and the reasons for each player.

Keep them realistic, and send us your three names by either filling out our survey below or on Twitter to @ExaminerHTAFC.
