This summer's transfer window for both the Premier League and Football League closes at 6pm on September 1, shifting from the traditional August 31 due to the Bank Holiday.

With less than 48 hours to go there is likely to be plenty of speculation and deals done as clubs scramble to strengthen their squads before a long, hard winter.

And with injury-plagued forward James Vaughan told he is free to look for another club , Chris Powell could be set to line-up a replacement with Town already looking short of firepower at the start of this season.

With this in mind, could Chris Powell be tempted to make a move for any of these forwards?

With Andre Ayew also signing this summer from Marseilles it could be time for the forward to move on - or at least go out on loan.

The Dubliner has scored goals everywhere he has been and has started this season on fire for the League One outfit as well - netting four goals already this season.

Perhaps Madden would not be the high-profile signing some fans would like but there is no doubting the Republic of Ireland international has raw talent and an eye for goal.
