The summer transfer window will soon be open for business, with many clubs already moving to obtain their top targets ahead of next season.

As players' contracts expire, managers and club officials will be busy plotting their next moves.

Nottingham Forest are closing in on two signings and are expected to announce them today, with Coventry City striker Callum Wilson believed to be one of those names. (Coventry Telegraph)

Birmingham City are in talks with free agent Stephen Gleeson after his MK Dons deal expired as Blues manager Lee Clark looks to add to the Bosman signing of Jonathan Grounds and loan defender Grant Hall. (Birmingham Mail)

Nottingham Forest's other signing could be Matty Fryatt, who has been interesting several Championship clubs after his Hull City contract expired. Forest are also being linked with Peterborough'sBritt Assombalonga. (Nottingham Post)
