Joel Coleman has signed for Huddersfield Town, penning a three year deal.
He becomes the second goalkeeper to sign for the club since the season's end, although Luke Coddington will work with the u21s while Coleman will join the senior set-up.
The club have been open about the search for two new goalkeepers for the first team, with Jed Steer returning to Aston Villa and Joe Murphy out injured until October.
Liverpool stopper Danny Ward is firmly on the radar but no deal has yet been completed.
And the club have moved to bring in an exciting young talent - Coleman has already made 45 appearances for Oldham before reaching his 21st birthday and will continue to grow and develop under the tutelage of David Wagner and his staff at PPG Canalside.

How did he get started?
The 20-year-old came through Oldham's Academy, and broke into the senior side at the end of the 2014/15 campaign.
He made his debut in March 2015 as a second half sub for the injured Jake Kean and seized his opportunity - replacing the-then Blackburn Rovers loanee as the senior custodian.
Unfazed by the leap into senior football, he kept two clean sheets in the subsequent two games and was voted the club's Player of the Month.
It prompted the Latics to hand him the no.1 shirt for the start of the 2015/16 campaign with Coleman still just 19 years old, and bring in David Cornell as back-up.
How did he fare in 2015/16?
Coleman made 34 appearances last season in what was essentially his first campaign as a regular in the first team.
John Sheridan made the Academy product his undisputed no.1 and he kept 14 clean sheets over the course of the season as the Latics escaped relegation from League One.
He had some dips in form during the campaign, but that isn't unusual in such a young keeper and he recovered well to finish the season strongly.
Does he fit what Town are after?
The signing of Luke Coddington for the u21s doesn't affect Town's desire to add two new stoppers to the first team ranks, and despite his youth, Coleman fits the profile.
He has first team experience under his belt, and at 6ft6 he is a commanding presence between the posts as well as being a decent shot-stopper.
However, his size doesn't prevent him from being comfortable with the ball at his feet - which will delight David Wagner, who sees it as an essential quality in his full-throttle system.
What about his contract situation?
Oldham exercised their option for a further year on Coleman's contract, which would have otherwise expired this summer, ensuring Town would have to pay a fee for his services.
That fee is undisclosed, but reports in his home county of Lancashire suggest it is in the region of £100,000 - which is an excellent deal from the John Smith's Stadium club's point of view.
He has agreed a three year deal, with the club having an option of a further year.
