Halifax RL are looking forward to getting Adam Robinson back into action.
The former Batley Bulldogs and Dewsbury Rams player has been sidelined with a broken arm.
However, the 26-year-old prop has had his plaster removed and head coach Karl Harrison is expecting to have Robinson back in contention for a place in two weeks time.
Halifax are away to Workington Town in the Kingstone Press Championship on Sunday and, after a week without a game due to the Challenge Cup, Harrison is happy his side are in good shape.
“We had an appraisal week with every player having a one-on-one meeting with the coaching staff,” said Harrison.
“It lets the players know exactly where they are and a lot of positive things came out of it.”
Phil Veivers, coach of Sunday’s rivals Workington, is working hard to boost his squad after taking only two wins from their opening six games.
“There are areas in the team that need strengthening, but it is trying to find both the finances and the players to do that,” said Veivers.
“Half-backs are pretty tough to come by, but we are still searching on both sides of the English Channel and in Australia.”
Ben Heaton goes into the game needing one appearance to reach 100 for his career.
Heaton has played 50 games for Halifax since 2012 and was previously with Oldham, where he made 49 appearances (2009-2011).
