Chris Powell’s men head to Leeds United aiming to build in the point claimed in Tuesday’s goalless home draw with Wigan Athletic.
Leeds won 3-1 at AFC Bournemouth, and interest in the Elland Road encounter is high, with the crowd expected to top 25,000.
“People have been talking about the Leeds derby, and it sounds like my kind of game,” said 23-year-old Liverpool product Robinson.
“I’ve played for Wolves against Birmingham and Blackpool against Preston, which is a pretty feisty one.
“It’s going to be a bit of a hot house, so it’s important we keep our composure and keep the ball as much as we can.
“The clean sheet against Wigan was a big thing, because it’s been a long time coming, but we struggled to hold possession.
“The ball kept coming back at us, which made it hard graft, and that’s an area we know we have to work on and improve.
“Having said that, the point the other night was good, and it’s something we can build on as we move forward under the gaffer.
“Chris has come in and already created a great togetherness. He has put down a plan of how he wants us to go forward, and it’s for us to put it into practice.”
