Marsden A are Men’s Division I champions in the Huddersfield and District Tennis League for the first time.

They beat off Batley A into second place by a margin of two points.

Thongsbridge B and Liversedge A were relegated.

Shepley A won the Division II title with Mirfield A promoted as runners-up. Cleckheaton A and Huddersfield B were relegated.

Hillside A went the entire season unbeaten and won Division III by 13 points, with Denby Dale A in second place.

Holmfirth A are relegated after Huddersfield C withdrew from the league earlier in the season.

Linthwaite A are Division IV champions with Batley B runners-up. Denby Dale B and Cleckheaton B went down.

Mirfield C are Men’s Division V champions and won their last match of the season, 10-3 at Linthwaite B, a game that was closer than the score suggested.

The match turned on a tie-break between the first pair, at the end of the first rubber. This left Mirfield undefeated throughout the entire season.

Marsden C are promoted alongside Mirfield, with Tingley and Batley C relegated.

In Men’s Division VI, Gregory Fields C are champions and leave the bottom division along with second-placed Holmfirth B.

In ladies Division I, Thongsbridge A are champions for the second successive year with Grove A and Marsden A relegated.

Thongsbridge C are Second Division champions and gain promotion along with Batley A. Longley B and Liversedge were relegated.

Shepley A have won the Third Division championship and are promoted with second-placed Oakfield A. Huddersfield D were relegated with the other relegation place still to be decided between Rastrick B and Tingley.

Thongsbridge E are Fourth Division champions with Holmfirth B in second, while Linthwaite A and Shepley B were relegated.

In Division V, Linthwaite B are champions and go up with Oakfield B.
