Dragons played on the counter-attack and a long ball was passed to Sacha Hateley-Lowe, who held the ball up and won a short corner and from a well rehearsed routine Huddersfield scored their opening goal through Hester Longstaff.

The Dragons confidence grew in the second half and took control of the game.

The second goal came from a quick pass from defence with the ball being passed to Rebecca Jessop who smashed it into the back of the net.

The final goal came from neat work by Hateley-Lowe who crossed to player of the match Longstaff and she swept it into the goal.

The goal that started the comeback arrived just before half-time, and an interchange between Bull and Pinder gave the latter the chance to slot the ball into the goal.

The equaliser arrived early in the second half came when Gini Dunne broke from defence and freed Pinder who chipped the ball over the keeper into the top corner.

With Acomb tiring the third goal came from a brilliantly placed pass from Kerry Bottomley putting Pinder through to complete her hat trick.
