Stainland Lions launched their new 10K trail race with 150 runners taking on the challenge.

Ben Mounsey and Gav Mulholland, more often seen on the fells, flew the flag for the Lions with Mounsey winning the race in 40 minutes and 47 seconds, while Mulholland followed in 41.27.

Skipton’s Micheal Keedy was third in 42.59 and Ed Hyland was next home in fourth overall and third for Stainland in 45.23.

Saltaire’s Jen Willingham was the first lady to cross the line in 52 minutes with the home club’s Julie Field next, and 1st F40, in 54.08.
