HUDDERSFIELD Rams are today aiming for Aussie Rules semi-final success.

The Lockwood Park-based Rams are looking for what would be a significant victory in the AFL Central & Northern England League last four.

They take on top-of-the-table Manchester Mosquitoes in what promises to be a thrilling match.

Team manager Matt Evans said “It’s been a tough season for the Rams.

“We’ve struggled with long-term injuries and work commitments in our seniors, which meant we were sitting at the bottom of the table after the first few rounds.

“However, the fresher talent has emerged, and under expert coaching players have stepped up to the plate and pushed us forwards.

“To be in the semi-finals is a huge achievement for the Rams, and testament to how strong our club is.”

A win today in Nottingham would put Grosvenor Casinos-sponsored Huddersfield into the League Grand Final – which they are staging at Lockwood Park a week today, August 11.
