HOME club duo Andrew Hoult and Robert Craven won the Conservative League Eric Wike Pairs title at Almondbury BC.

They defeated Moldgreen’s Tony Butterfield and Adrian Cooper 21-14 in the final.

Semi-finals – Duck and Turner 11 Hoult and Craven 21, Butterfield and Cooper 21 Brook and Bray 9.

Final – Hoult and Craven 21 Butterfield and Cooper 14.

The Liberal League John Carstairs Memorial Pairs Merit final will be played at sponsors Primrose Hill Lib with £230 of prize money up for grabs on Sunday, July 31 (2.00).

Winners will take home £120 and the runners-up £60 and it promises to be an excellent event in recognition of John Carstairs (entry by programme at £1 and refreshments available).

Bowlers should note dress code applies and the Liberal League thanked Primrose Hill Lib for sponsoring the final.
