YOU KNOW when winter has arrived because the Griffin are back in action!
The Colne Valley venue stage their first event of the 2012-13 campaign with a Sixteen on Sunday.
It’s an 11am start and the draw is: Mark Sykes v Dennis Tattersley, Graham Tandy v Ray Whitwam, Danny Fountain v Paul Ingleby, Roy Sutton v Peter Kain, Craig Gant v David Scott, Mark Bramall v Mick Higgins, Donald Rae v Brian Morley, Ronnie Wormald v George Fellows.
Griffin members should note the Griffin Rosebowl preliminaries start on October 21 and the draw will take place this Sunday at 2pm.
Entry sheet is in the clubhouse or members can ring Frank Greenwood on 07734 689775 to join this season’s first major competition.
