YORKSHIRE Ladies notched their second superb win of the season when beating Lancashire 469-403.

The home team, playing at Almondbury BC, had only three losers and won 238-181.

Five winners for the away team, plus good scores from the losers, brought them a richly deserved victory of 231-222 at Penwortham Sports and Social Club.

Julie Mallinson of Outlane was the best winner in the home team on her debut appearance, while Louise Whiteley pulled back from a 20-14 deficit to win 21-20 in the away team.
