CHRIS DAVIES was the winner of the latest Griffin Inn Sixteen .

The competition, which was sponsored by Lesley Wood, saw Davies overcome Jack Dyson.

In the final Dyson led at 3-1 but never got in front again, although he levelled on five occasions, but the crucial end came with Dyson leading at 16-17.

With his second bowl Dyson knocked Davies in who then made two to go 19-16.

Dyson managed to get back to 19 across before Davies scored the next two singles for the game and his second Sixteen win of this season.
