HUDDERSFIELD bowlers played a strong part as Yorkshire Juniors qualified for the semi-finals of the Inter-county Championship.

They did it with a 467-380 win over Wales and the home side at Golcar Lib featured only three losers, while the away side suffered on a wet green at Broughton and Bretton but battled to go down by only eight points.
