Spectators were treated to some excellent bowling at Thorpe Green, with the ladies of New Mill proving too good for Marsh Utd in the final when they won 163-132.

After the first four jacks, Marsh Utd were in front by a point and tension was building as it looked like being a close game, however the back four from New Mill stepped up a gear and they went on to claim the silverware.

Despite the loss, Marsh Utd’s Jean Gee was named Lady of the Match.
