CANALSIDE are celebrating the capture of the Henry Taylor Cup.

The county competition title was taken with a 206-195 victory against Lower Hopton B at Halifax BC.

With 10 games finished, Canalside were four points in front, but they were one point behind after 11.

Andrew Heaume played well to win 21-9 in the final match to seal it.

Play is at eight venues and matches consist of two singles and one pairs. All games are played off Huddersfield handicaps and it’s toss for the jack for each game.
