TWO scratch Yorkshire County bowlers will be fancied to take the Autumn Handicap title on Sunday.

The final is sponsored and staged by Paddock Cricket and Bowling Club and starts at 2pm, with Netherton’s Craig Gant and Lockwood Con’s Champion of Champions Wayne Moseley vying for the £250 top prize, which was taken last year by Ian Briggs.

Moseley is one of four Lockwood Con bowlers in the showpiece, while Canalside have three in Adam Douglas, Association competitions secretary Andrew Wadsworth and Andrew Heaume, who won the Summer Handicap last year.

It’s the last big final before the Champion of Champions on Sunday, October 7.
