HUDDERSFIELD’S best are out in force again as Yorkshire Ladies take on Wirral in their latest county match on Sunday.

It’s their third matches of the season and Yorkshire have had a brilliant start to the season, comfortably beating South Staffordshire and Lancashire.

The Wirral finished bottom of the table last year, but a good win by Yorkshire on Sunday would increase the differential points which may be needed at the end of this round.

The home team play at Meltham Bowling Club and the away team travel to Thingwall.

Both games start at 2pm and plenty of support at Meltham would be appreciated.

THE Huddersfield Junior Crown Green Bowling Association committee have decided to postpone their league games on Saturday.

This is to allow anyone involved to go to Wembley and give their support to Huddersfield Town in their play off final against Sheffield United.

The games can be played on Saturday, September 22, or previously if mutually agreed.
