Yorkshire bid to hit Waterloo
Yorkshire Ladies crown green bowlers will be out to gain a place in the British County Championship finals for the second year in succession when they play their semi-final game on Sunday against Shropshire.
The winners go forward to the Championship final while the runners-up will have a place in the Waterloo Cup final, both to be played at Waterloo Bowling Club, Blackpool, on September 21 and 22 respectively.
Last year Yorkshire lost in the Championship final to South Yorkshire by just six points, having lost to Shropshire by one point earlier in the competition.
