Terry Brook won the latest Sixteen at the Griffin Bowling Club – beating sponsor Mark Allman in the showpiece 21-8.

Although Allman won his three qualifying games comfortably to five, nine and 10, in the final Brook took a commanding lead 9-0 at the seventh end.

By the 16th end it was 13-6, at which point Allman got a pair, but Brook then made an eight break to reach the winning post in fine style on what had been a very changeable and tricky surface.
