CHRIS ASTON reckons the professional boxing bill at Shaw a week tomorrow offers one of the best value-for- money deals in sport.

It’s £20 a ticket for a show put together by experienced promoter Jack Doughty which features up-and-coming unbeaten Huddersfield lightweight Tyrone Nurse.

The 19-year-old faces rugged Reading fighter Ibrar Riyaz in a four-round contest which his trainer Aston believes will be a real crowd pleaser.

“It’s a tight and atmospheric venue and easy to get to from Huddersfield, and Jack knows how to stage an entertaining show,” said Aston, who has Andy Butlin and Tony Aitcheson in action in Bolton tomorrow.

“We’ve been going over there for years, it’s always a good occasion, and at the price, a good deal.

“This time Jack’s got local favourite Darren Stubbs fighting (Sheffield’s) Carl Wild for the Central area light-heavyweight title.

“And Shinny Bayaar, who is also popular with the Oldham fans, is on the bill as well.”
