COLNE VALLEY Specialist Arts College have achieved great success with their girls sports teams.
They have finished winners or runners-up in a number of Kirklees leagues and tournaments and the PE staff have praised them for their efforts and attitude.
The Under 13 girls football team (made up for Year 7s & 8s) won the Kirklees 11-a-side League, the Year 7 six-a-side indoor tournament and the Year 8 six-a-side league.
The Year 7 netball team were Kirklees tournament winners, while the Year 8 netball team were league title winners and tournament runners-up.
In Year 10, the netball team were league and tournament winners, while the Year 11 team were tournament runners-up (losing out by only one goal).
All the netball teams will be representing Kirklees at the West Yorkshire Invitation tournament in September.
The Under 14 badminton team won the Kirklees tournament, while the Under 13 swimming team won the Yorkshire Schools Medley Relay.
